Light Lantern
my lantern has 4 mantles to light. is it okay if i just light 2 instead of all 4?
if i only light two will it waste more propane than if i were just to light all 4?
Unless your lantern has a thermocouple or some other switch to shut off the two you don't light, it would be dangerous to leave them unlit because the gas from the unlit mantles would escape into the lantern and may cause an explosion. What you want to do is light all 4 mantles and dim the lantern until you have just the light you want. That is the way to save fuel.
